Program 01

The Silent Risk & Early Detection Initiative

Helping bring hidden cardiovascular risk into the light.

Program in Development

The Mission

The Silent Risk & Early Detection Initiative is designed to expand access to cardiovascular risk education and community-based screening opportunities, particularly for individuals and families who may have limited access to preventive services. Through community partnerships, the initiative will connect participants with heart health education, screening opportunities, and guidance on appropriate follow-up resources. The goal is simple: help people better understand their cardiovascular risk before a life-changing event occurs.

What the Initiative Will Provide

  • Community-Based Cardiovascular Screenings: Delivered through qualified healthcare and screening partners.
  • Cardiovascular Risk Education: Clear guidance on blood pressure, symptoms, and relevant risk factors.
  • Family History Awareness: Helping participants recognize when inherited risk warrants further discussion with a doctor.
  • Navigation & Referral Resources: Providing participants who may need follow-up care with appropriate resources and navigation guidance.
  • Prevention-Focused Education: Empowering individuals to understand their results and ask informed questions during doctor visits.

The Impact We Plan to Measure

Individuals Screened

Risk Identified

Number of participants with screening findings that warrant medical follow-up.

Families Reached

Number of individuals receiving education about family history and inherited cardiovascular risk.

Connections to Care

Number of participants provided with follow-up resources or navigation support.

Help Bring Early Detection Into the Community

Support for The Silent Risk & Early Detection Initiative will help Inherited Hearts Foundation expand cardiovascular education, community screening opportunities, and connections to appropriate follow-up resources.
